Anstruther Lifeboat Station founded in 1865 is one of them and now operates

12m Mersey Class 'Fast Carriage Boat' (FCB) - RNLB The Kingdom of Fife

and an Inshore Lifeboat IB1 Rotary Centenary Queen D667
Operating
within the Firth of Forth and North Sea from Anstruther, Fife, Scotland
the Lifeboats had 49 (ROS) Service calls in
2011 assisting over 40 people.
Relief Lifeboats *
Both boat on station are currently from the relief fleet
Since the foundation of the RNLI in 1824 its lifeboat crews
have saved over 137,000 lives
