Isle of May with a heavy object caught in its fishing gear and causing
stability problems.
ALB located and escorted the casualty to Anstruher where the object was
made safe (a propellor and part of an engine from a WW2 plane)

mechanical failure and loosing electrical power with two adults onboard. The casualty was located and towed safely to Anstruther by the ALB assisted into the harbour by the ILB. After repairs the yacht continued and can be tracked at - www.aroundardent.net

following the sinking of a small Creel boat off Methil. Another crew member swimming ashore
had raised the alarm.
The ALB and other vessels were just on scene when the casualty was airlifted by the
helicopter to hospital.

13:34 A member of the public alerted the lifeboat station and ILB 
within the harbour, to assist two persons who had been washed from
the East Pier at Anstruther, during a very big swell braking over
the harbour wall.
One person managed to swim to the ladder and climb out, the second was
unable to and was picked up by the ILB crew and returned, badly shaken
to the Lifeboat Station where assistance was given.

15:14 Request from Forth Coastguard to assist two divers off Fife Ness
overcome by the wind and tide. ALB in the harbour and proceeded to the scene.
Shore crew also went to assist, ambulance was tasked.
Two other divers eventually assisted them to the shore
launch and search for two persons in kayaks reported as No further assistance required the ALB & shore crew
returned to Anstruther for re-house.

last seen near the Isle of may at 11:30 hrs.
Both boats proceeded to the search area in the fog.
Persons located safe & well camping on the Isle of May.
No further assistance required the ILB re-housed and ALB bearthed in Pittenweem with 
re-house at 06:45hrs on 11/02/08.

sinking alongside the pontoons within the harbour.
Crew assembled and waited for the tide to pump out the vessel, ILB launched
to assist, vessel re-floated and berthed. No further assistance required the ILB re-housed.
