The FV had fouled its prop and run aground Skipper taken off by ILB and transferred to ALB. ILB came along side and fixed a tow line that was transferred to ALB. The casualty was them towed into Crail harbour by ALB assisted by ILB. Both lifeboats returned to Anstruther to re-house.

DATE: Wednesday 30th May 200714:02 Lifeboat launched requested by Forth Coastguard (during Royal visit) to assist
female with reported broken leg on the Isle of May.
Lifeboat launched quickly as crew on station. Lifeboat managed with 2.5m swell to get alongside harbour
and give first aid (NHS 24 had recommended evacuation) Casualty and others in the party of ornithologists were safely
landed at Anstruther, the casualty being transferred by waiting ambulance
to Ninewell hospital.

Fire Service had been called and were pumping out, though water was still entering.
The Coastguard on scene requested the ILB tow the FV and beach it within
