The FV had fouled its prop and run aground Skipper taken off by ILB and transferred to ALB. female with reported broken leg on the Isle of May.
Lifeboat launched quickly as crew on station. Lifeboat managed with 2.5m swell to get alongside harbour
and give first aid (NHS 24 had recommended evacuation) Casualty and others in the party of ornithologists were safely
landed at Anstruther, the casualty being transferred by waiting ambulance
to Ninewell hospital.
