off Pittenweem. IB1 on scene and crew spoke to an angler at the location given, he was not in need of assistance.

15:49 ALB having just completed exercise requested to proceed to
a reported casualty one mile off Buckhaven. The first informant had reported the creel boat in difficulties. As the ALB approached the scene
it was reported that the creel boat was safely in the harbour.
ALB returned to await tide for recovery. False alarm with good intent.

18:29 Lifeboat launch requested to assist search for possible persons reported
stranded on cliffs at Kinscraig Point and trying to attract attention with lights.
After a thorough search of the coastline, with assistance from Coastguard shoreteams
and Rescue 131 helicopter. The lifeboat was stood down and returned with ILB
to Anstruther. False alarm with good intent.

Yacht located with 2 persons in the water, yacht righed and escorted to Elie harbour.

and many dinghies capsized in Largo Bay.
A sudden squall had hit a dinghy sailing race.
Both boat launched and proceeded to scene, the organisers rescue boat
had accounted for all casualties.
Lifeboats stood down and returned to Anstruther.

14:29 Launch requested by Coastguard to 11 people in RIB
reported in difficulties off Fife Ness.
ILB was launched during Gala activities. Dunbar ALB was also on route to Gala
when diverted. Crew from the ILB with local knowledge were able to navigate the ALB to calmer waters
for transfer of woman & husband to the shore and waiting ambulance. The sea state was deteriorating and becoming very rough with 3m swell. Kinghorn ILB also escorted the RIB back to Anstruther harbour.

16:21 While boats were rehousing there was report of person injured on 
a yacht in the harbour. A 999 call was made and first aid given
by crew members. The casualty was taken by ILB to the slip and station
and handed to paramedics and later air lifted the hospital.

15:32 On entering Eyemouth harbour on passage to Anstruther relief Lifeboat 12-001
was requested by Eyemouth Lifeboat crew to assist in helping divers cut off from the shore.
Lifeboat diverted to assist when it was reported that they had safely reached the shore. ALB 12-001 continued to the scheduled refueling at Eyemouth on passage to Anstruther.

ALB on scene 12:45 creel boat identified within harbour
having accepted a tow from another vessel near by. Lifeboat crew established that no further assistance was required
by the casualty who also had radio problems.

15:31 Request from Forth MRSC to launch both Lifeboats on report of passenger vessel
'May Princess' in difficulty and aground on rocks at the Isle of May.
ALB & ILB were quickly on scene and established ropes to tow the vessel of the rocks.
The 14 passengers were already ashore on the Island.
The passengers were taken aboard the ALB and safely returned to Anstruther harbour.
The passenger vessel was not taking in water and was towed by a FV Provider 
to Arbroath harbour for checks.

18:50 Request from Forth MRSC to launch ALB on report of 8m yacht in difficulties
of St Monans harbour with one person on board and no radio contact.
ALB launched and on scene at 19:20 with rough sea and 3-4m swell. The ALB could not
get along side as the yacht was now aground, a line was eventually secured to the yacht.
Rescue 131 helicopter winched the casualty to safety and the yacht was made fast within St Monans harbour. 20:22 ALB stood down and returned to Anstruther in very difficult
tide & sea conditions.

on fire in Largo Bay.
ALB launched and on scene at 17:35, crew established that the fire had
been extinguished and there were no injuries to the  two crew on board .
Kinghorn Lifeboat was also assisting. The casualty was taken in tow to Pittenweem.
