16:38 ALB released and returned to Anstruther to await tide to rehouse.

equipment and provide safety cover for divers and Gemini, off Isle of May, where possible mine 
had been left in nets and bouyed after being picked up by fishing vessel.
18:00 Mine dealt with ALB returned to Anstruther and tied up at west pier to await tide to rehouse.
21:30 Crew re-mustered to rehouse

          and engine failure off Crail harbour in  the Firth of Forth.  May Day broadcast being made.
ALB launched and proceeded to the scene, fire extinguished and FV Quantas taken in tow.
FV Quantas made safe alongside Pittenween harbour. 14:45 ALB returned to Anstruther harbour, rehoused and ready for service. WEATHER IN AREA:
