The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a Registered Charity relying
entirely on Voluntary Contributions

The Institution maintains 236* Lifeboat Stations around the coast of UK & Ireland
operating 323* high-powered boats - *check web link to RNLI for full details.

The Anstruther Lifeboat Station founded in 1865 is one of them and now operates a
12m Mersey Class 'Fast Carriage Boat' (FCB) - RNLB The Kingdom of Fife ON1174
and an Inshore Lifeboat IB1 Rotary Centenary Queen  D667

Operating within the Firth of Forth and North Sea from Anstruther, Fife, Scotland
the Lifeboats had 48 (ROS) Service calls in 2012 assisting over 30 people
.
