The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a Registered Charity relying
entirely on Voluntary Contributions

The Institution maintains 231* Lifeboat Stations around the coast of UK & Ireland

The Anstruther Lifeboat Station founded in 1865 is one of them and now operates a
12m Mersey Class 'Fast Carriage Boat' (FCB) - RNLB The Kingdom of Fife
and an Inshore Lifeboat 1 (IB1) D667

Operating within the Firth of Forth and North Sea from Anstruther, Fife, Scotland
the Lifeboats had 52 Service calls in 2007 rescuing 48 people
